Local law firm raise nearly £1K for Lincolnshire Hospice

Staff from Bridge McFarland Solicitors have raised nearly £1,000 for St Barnabas Hospice after taking part in the Lincoln ‘Colour Dash 5K’.

Sixteen Lincoln based staff members took part in the annual event in May, which is hosted by St Barnabas Hospice at The Lincolnshire Showground, and raised £920 between them.

St Barnabas Hospice Trust provides palliative and end-of-life care to ensure that dying people have a good quality of life at the end.

The Colour Dash drew in an estimated 3,000 people who watched and took part. Runners taking part in the 5k run were pelted with brightly coloured paint powder as they made their way along the course.

Adele Collis, Practice Manager at Bridge McFarland, said: “Bridge McFarland staff worked incredibly hard to fundraise for St Barnabas Hospice; a charity which is very close to people’s hearts in Lincolnshire. We were delighted to be able to raise just shy of £1,000.”

“The team have expressed their gratitude to everyone who sponsored them and look forward to taking part in the Colour Dash again next year.”
