Paul advises on the wide range of HR and employment law related matters (both contentious and non-contentious), including recruitment, disciplinary, capability, and grievance issues, unfair and wrongful dismissals, breach of contract claims, compromise agreements, drafting of tailor made contracts, service agreements, policies and handbooks.
Paul has particular interests in stress related issues, harassment, diversity (sex, race, disability, age, gender and religious discrimination), whistle blowing and the enforcement of restrictive covenants/misuse of confidential information.
He has considerable experience in handling the full range of claims brought in the Employment Tribunal, County Court and High Court through to the Appeal Courts.
Paul aims to provide his service in the most cost effective way to suit the individual needs of his clients including offering discounted annual retainer or fixed fee agreements, pay as you go schemes, or sourcing out insurance backed retainer services on an annual basis covering employers against the legal costs (and any awards) arising out of claims in the Employment Tribunal or for employees using pre purchased legal expense policies or after the event insurance where applicable.
As part of his overall Employment Law consultancy service Paul arranges bespoke training courses, seminars, and workshops as well as providing regular updates on important changes affecting workplace regulation. He is also happy to be on call 24/7 for urgent advice. |
