Delay in Diagnosis of Skin Cancer No-one wants to hear the alarming diagnosis that they have cancer, however, finding out that it should have been diagnosed much earlier makes a daunting and emotional journey much worse. Our client attended upon his GP on a number of occasions presenting with symptoms suggestive of an underlying malignancy. With an earlier referral to the dermatologists treatment could have been less extensive and he continues to suffer some of the effects which could have been avoided but for the delay in diagnosis. We managed to secure a settlement to provide some financial support and compensation for the unnecessary pain and suffering that he experienced.
