“Always caring, sympathetic and understanding. Very much appreciated in very stressful circumstances. Thank you.”

At Bridge McFarland LLP we are passionate about giving back to our local community and we do as much as we can to support our staff with causes that are close to their hearts.
Staff from each of the offices have the opportunity to nominate local charities at the end of the financial year, the staff will then vote for which cause to support over the following year. Last year the Firm supported Epilepsy Research UK, Alzheimer’s Society and Abbie’s Fund.
This year our Grimsby Offices are raising funds for the charity ‘When You Wish Upon a Star’ – they are aiming to send 10 sick children on the ‘Santa Express’ to meet Father Christmas.
In Louth the team are fundraising for Prostate Cancer UK, they have set themselves an ambitious target of £3,000 by the end of April 2019.
The Lincoln office are supporting local charity ‘LEAP’, a supported housing charity for young people – they are organising a ‘Sleep Out’ with the local community to raise awareness as well as funds.
In Hull the team have chosen to support Dove House Hospice, a local end of life care facility. The team are planning to host another glamorous ball to help them hit their fundraising target.
Sometimes it is not money that is required to help assist or improve a particular organisation or charity and we actively encourage and support our staff who have commitments in the voluntary and charitable sector.
Several of our solicitors are mentors to local college pupils who have shown a keen interest in law and wish to continue their studies in this field. Amongst other things members of the firm sit on the Boards of Charities, Housing Associations and serve as Councillors and School Governors.
