Find out more about where it all began and how we've evolved as a firm.
In 1976 John Bridge started the practice of Keeble Hawson Bridge and Co opening a second branch in Lincoln in 1983. In 1978 Paddy McFarland established the firm McFarland and Co in Louth subsequently opening branch offices in Mablethorpe and Market Rasen.
Both practices flourished independently until 1990 when the two firms merged bringing together lawyers Paddy McFarland, John Bridge and six other partners to create Bridge McFarland Solicitors.
Further mergers then followed in Grimsby with Granville Chapman Geo. A. White & Co, in Louth with Haddon Owen, in Skegness with the Skegness branch of Walkers, Rainey & Owen and in Lincoln with Downes & Siddall.
The firm now has offices in Grimsby, Hull, Lincoln, Louth, and Market Rasen and is considered one of the largest law firms in Lincolnshire, East and South Yorkshire and the Humber regions.
Bridge McFarland became a Limited Liability Partnership in May 2019.
