Bridge McFarland Hull Charity Team Shoot Past £1,000

At the beginning of the financial year the Hull branch of Bridge McFarland chose a local charity called Abbie’s Fund to support for the next twelve months. The charity provides memory boxes for families who lose babies through still birth and neonatal death. These boxes include keepsakes, hand and footprint kits, blankets, teddy bears and information on what support there is for bereaved parents.

Earlier this year the team hit £500 having taken part in a sponsored walk event, a 100 mile bike ride, and by buying snacks for their ‘tuck shop’. Now, after a gruelling bike challenge that rose over £400, a sweet bake sale and the continued running of their ‘tuck shop’ the team have hit a fantastic £1,250.

In the New Year the team are planning their pièce de ré-sis-tance in the form of a splendid Charity Ball. The event will be held at The Country Park Hotel on the 27th April 2017. Their Charity Ball is going to be a brilliant event with a 2-course-meal, live music and a balloon raffle – and if you book tickets before the 1st December then you will be in with the chance of winning a classic chuffer driven car to transport you to the ball!

If you would like to book tickets then visit our online Box Office at https://www.tickettailor.com/checkout/view-event/id/122183/chk/4cc5
