Bridge McFarland steps up to help parents and carers
“ Supporting local community organisations is incredibly important to Bridge McFarland and a big part of the firm’s culture and we are delighted to partner with NELPPF to support them deliver this vital service for families in the area ”

A group which offers guidance and support for parents and carers in North East Lincolnshire has been backed with a double boost from regional law firm Bridge McFarland

Staff from the firm’s Grimsby office joined forces with the North East Lincolnshire Parent Participation Forum (NELPPF) to help the service raise £400 from the recent Cleethorpes Colour Run.

The firm is also the headline sponsor of the organisation’s annual Parent Carer Forum Event, which takes place on Wednesday 19 October from 10am until 3pm at the Humber Royal Hotel in Grimsby.

The NELPPF brings together parents of children with additional needs and provides a voice to other parents and carers in the region. It aims to influence local and national government to improve the quality of life for families with additional needs from birth to age 25.

The event on October 19 will bring together a variety of special education needs and disabilities service providers to offer free advice with workshops, signposting and one-to-one sessions. Bridge McFarland will host a stall where families can meet some of their solicitors and will also offer individual guidance and specialist advice on family law, wills, trusts and probate, personal injury and clinical negligence.

Chris Green, Associate Solicitor at Bridge McFarland Solicitors, said: “Supporting local community organisations is incredibly important to Bridge McFarland and a big part of the firm’s culture and we are delighted to partner with NELPPF to support them deliver this vital service for families in the area.”

“We will be at the Parent Carer Forum throughout the day on October 19 and we encourage anyone needing legal advice to come and visit us for a friendly chat.”
