Employment Updates March 2019

March 2019 saw another set of Employment Law Updates ran in conjunction with the CIPD.

The employment law team were out in force this year with three speakers taking part in the presentation. Partners’ Nicola Barrass and Lee Whiting were joined by Joanne Wright, Chartered Legal Executive based in Hull.

The topics covered included upcoming changes to the law, new parental bereavement leave & pay laws, an update on employment tribunals, pay reporting, and a selection of interesting and informative case studies. Feedback for the events, one held in Grimsby at Healing Manor, the other held in Hull at the Village Hotel, was all very positive, and we were pleased to welcome a record number of attendees.

The team will be back in September for another set of updates.
