Law firm to host Lincoln Knight before launch of trail
“ We will be donating £150 to the Nomad Trust to say thank you to Lincs Archiving for allowing us to welcome the Baron and the Knight for the next week, and we are hoping to raise double that from staff and visitors while it is in our office. ”

One of the highly anticipated Lincoln Knights will be making an appearance at Bridge McFarland Solicitors’ office in Lincoln for the next week.

Lincs Archiving Solutions, the Knight’s official sponsor, is allowing the ‘Inside Out’ Knight to complete a short tour of Lincoln before taking its place in line for the Trail.

36 sculptures will be placed across Lincoln city centre from May 20 until September 3 to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the Battle of Lincoln and the sealing of the Charter of the Forest.

The ‘Inside Out’ Knight, which was signed with LCFC by Lincoln City Manager Danny Cowley in March, will be accompanied by the Baron of Crystal Hues and will be at the Bridge McFarland’s Lincoln office up until April 7. The two iconic sculptures are touring in aid of the Nomad Trust, which provides welfare services in the City of Lincoln for those who are homeless or otherwise in need.

Anyone wishing to come and see the Baron and Knight together before the Knight stops off at its next destination is encouraged to visit the firm’s office on the high street and make a small donation in aid of the Nomad Trust.

Adele Collis, Practice Manager at Bridge McFarland Solicitors, said: “We‘re proud to work in a city that has so much history and even prouder that we are able to be a part of great initiatives such as the Lincoln Knights' trail, as well as raise money for a such an important cause. Lincoln is a great place to live and work and the more we shout about it, the better.

We will be donating £150 to the Nomad Trust to say thank you to Lincs Archiving for allowing us to welcome the Baron and the Knight for the next week, and we are hoping to raise double that from staff and visitors while it is at our office.”
