Grimsby Office

Legal Assistant

Bridge McFarland LLP are looking to recruit a Legal Assistant to join our expanding Personal Injury department in Grimsby.

Duties will include being the first contact with clients and running the initial stages of Personal Injury cases.

This position is ideal for someone with excellent communication and IT skills and the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. Experience working within the legal field and handling clients is preferred but not essential.

Full training will be given and there will be an opportunity to gain CILEx qualifications for the right candidates. Please note this is not an opening for those wishing to undertake a training contract.

We have a vacancy for a qualified solicitor in our Child Care Department based at our Lincoln office. We are willing to consider Trainees who are undertaking their last six months of a training contract.

The successful applicant is likely to have had at least 6 months experience working within a Family or Child Care Department working in this area of law, but above all will be someone who has a passion for working in the field of Public Law children’s cases.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and IT skills, and will be a person who wants to be part of a strong and supportive team where they will be expected to expand their knowledge and experience in this area of law, to manage their own case load and to be keen to undertake their own advocacy.

Clinical Negligence Solicitor

Bridge McFarland LLP are looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Solicitor who is able to undertake Claimant work. The ideal candidate will:

- Be a Solicitor or Legal Executive
- Have 2 years or more relevant PQE (although exceptional candidates with less PQE will also be considered)
- Have the ability to run a caseload independently
- Be able to assist less experienced members of staff

Candidates must have excellent communication, IT skills and the ability to work on their own initiative, as well as part of a team.
